What is a Pixel?

.Every photograph, in digital form, is made up of pixels.. Usually round or square, they are typically arranged in a 2-d.

PIXEL ART :

Nowadays there are designers and artists that are working with these kind of images , it´s called PIXEL ART.

OUR PROJECT: PIXEL PAPER TOY

This project is based on minecraft world!

Students will create their own pixel paper toy. In this lesson we are going to work with parallel, perpendicular lines., pixel and volume.

STEP 1: Divide each part of the template (body,arms,head..) into pixels .

Each pixel must be a square of 5mm side.

STEP 2: Paint the paper toy with a pixel style.

STEP 3: Cut each part of the paper toy. STEP 4: Glue and build your paper toy!
